Arts SA: Individual development funding
Arts SA is accepting grant applications for their individual development funding program. The program supports the professional development of individual, independent artists through master classes and workshops, mentorships, attendance at arts conferences, attachments to arts organisations, undertaking arts residencies, or other activity.
For the purposes of Arts SA funding, visual arts, craft and design is a group of artforms encompassing digital art, painting, drawing, object design, conceptual art, photography, furniture making, post object art, printmaking, textiles and fibre, sculpture, ceramics, installation art, jewellery, public art, curatorial activity, performance art, multi and mixed media, glass, new technologies, electronic art, experimental art, projects incorporating community cultural development practices, ATSI and multicultural visual art, craft and design or new media.
Individual development funding provides up to AUD$3,000 for opportunities within Australia and up to AUD$5,000 for international opportunities.
Applications for the next funding round are due 7 May 2010. Successful applicants will be notified 2 July 2010.
