The Australian Business Arts Foundation is holding a half-day workshop for visual artists on writing grant applications for federal, state and local government funding and philanthropic foundations.

Topics covered include:
- Grants available for visual artists
- Understanding grant jargon
- Understanding the grant bodies funding priorities or application guidelines
- Preparing an application -what makes up the application form, what type of support material needs to be included etc.
- Budgeting – preparing a realistic budget
- The grant assessment process
- Grant acquittals

This workshop will be held 23 June 2010 at Freehills, Level 36, QV1 Building, 250 St Georges Tce, Perth from 9:30am to 1:00pm.
