(m)art design store is calling for expressions of interest from Queensland designer/makers who would like to be considered for inclusion in artisan’s corporate gift catalogue.

Due 1 February 2010.

(m)art design store is calling for expressions of interest from Queensland designer/makers who would like to be considered for inclusion in artisan’s Corporate Gift Catalogue.

The Corporate Gift Catalogue is a unique offering from (m)art design store which facilitates the opportunity for corporate clients to select multiple product as gifts for their staff, clients and customers. Often the catalogue is a catalyst for further commissioned items by the company which may result in the commissioning of much larger quantities.

(m)art is seeking Queensland designed and made product with an engaging artist statement and appropriate packaging as well as:

- Artists that have the ability to produce multiplies to an agreed due date
- Product that is priced under $100
- Unisex design (a product that suits both male and female)
- Demonstrates standards of excellence in object design and production
- Original and distinctive work

If your product is a design concept you will be required to put forward drawings or a prototype. The product can be made from any medium however smaller items are preferable. Designers will need to be able to produce anywhere from 20 to 500 units within a reasonable time line, usually 2 to 3 months.

If your product is selected we will require that you deliver 5 units of the selected product to go on consignment at the (m)art design store. Your product will then available to be put forward to companies for their gifting requirements, suitable commissions, and be available for sale in (m)art design stores.

If your product does not prove suitable for the Corporate Gift Catalogue, it may be considered for the (m)art design stores at Fortitude Valley and the new South Bank store scheduled for opening in April 2010.

Expressions of interest are due 1 February 2010.

For more information and to submit an expression of interest visit here.
