Developing and implementing your business plan workshop

This free workshop will demystify business planning and provide you with a clear understanding of a framework and the essential elements of planning and actioning plans for your business.

Topics include:
– The three perspectives that underpin a business plan
– An introduction to business financials
– A new way of creating, developing and communicating the way forward
– The new A3 'Plan4Action' sheet that brings together your plan onto a single page
– How to develop a simple action plan for yourself and the business.
– Key aspects of your role and mind-set as a leader within your business
– The importance of culture and people within your business
– Developing relevant performance measures
– The importance of an ongoing planning process

In addition the presenter Brenton Leitch will describe common characteristics of many successful businesses. Brenton has has managed the national judging process for the Telstra and Australian Government's Small Business of the Year Awards for many years and is currently facilitating a number of business improvement programs. Consequently, he has a unique insight to those key success factors that distinguish some of the best businesses in this country.

This workshop will be held 12 May 2010 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at the Education Development Centre, Milner Street, Hindmarsh.
