Cove Park International Craft Residency 2010
The Cove Park centre for the arts and creative industries in Scotland is calling for applications from international designers and makers interested in undertaking a three month residency. The successful applicant will receive a resident’s fee of £5,200, a research/materials allowance of £750, high quality self-catering accommodation and access to a dedicated private studio space.
The residency is funded by the Scottish Arts Council and will take place from 3 May to 30 July 2010 at Cove Park, a fifty-acre site on Scotland’s west coast just 60 minutes from Glasgow by road or rail. The craft and design residencies strongly emphasise the provision of time for individual research and to experiment with new ideas, forms and techniques.
