Australian design makers are invited to apply to take part in Adelaide's second Bowerbird Bazaar. The event will be held in March 2010 and gives designers the opportunity to promote their designs and business and also to sell products direct to the public alongside other Australian designer/makers.

To be housed in a spacious and historic Adelaide theatre, Bowerbird Bazaar will provide a platform for professional artists, designers and craftspeople working in visual art, jewellery, furniture, textiles and fashion, glass and ceramics, and other design-driven fields. The event also presents the opportunity for the public to meet and talk with the people who make the products.

Along with two days open to the public, Bowerbird Bazaar will feature a one day mini trade fair where invited retailers and special guests can chat with the sellers. There will also be networking sessions (think speed dating, only matching designers to retailers) and a speakers' corner where designer/makers can speak about what they do and how they do it.
